For the winter months, the property boasts a beautiful hillside for snow play, and two indoor fireplaces for warming up when you are done. Markleeville Creek is a 5-minute stroll down Pleasant Valley Road. The creek is a put-and-take fishery that is regularly planted with trout including some that range from 5-7 lbs. Also located within a 5-minute walk are backcountry skiing and snowboarding, hiking and mountain biking trails adjacent to Pleasant Valley Road. For the more adventurous, Thornburg Canyon Trailhead is located 2 miles away and enters the Mokelumne Wilderness connecting with the Pacific Crest Trail and the Upper and Lower Blue Lake area. With over 15,000 feet of climbing, 129 miles of scenic riding, and up to five Alpine climbs.
